polyrhythm is a rhythm game about patterns, not precision. You control the left and right drums, which you will beat in time with the music.
There is no visual lead-up to each note - instead, take your time to learn each pattern before trying to play it. The music will not stop if you miss notes while learning.
An icon in the top right indicates whether the music is in a loop until you figure out the rhythm, or playing a linear section, during which you can try to hit notes or enjoy the show!

I just have to come back to this to really detail just how brilliant this game is. It starts a BIT slow, but my goodness, what a freakin surreal experience.
I love the ways the rhythms change, and how your only feedback of how you're doing is the bar filling up. I love the way the beat transitions to the next segement and the sense of accomplishment you feel there. I love the absolutely banger soundtrack and INCREDIBLE visuals that really make you FEEL the music all around you.
I like how this game really tests you. It throws you into the deep end and says "Alright, see if you can do this" and when you pass it's this overwhelming feeling of just like *that really happened* Magical, brilliant, excellent. Love it.

I currently am not really planning on expanding it - I have a few ideas for improvements, and of course I could just expand it by adding more music, but for now I’m working on other things in life!
